Drunken Lullabies Podcast

Drunken Lullabies is a podcast hosted by Dustin Wikoff along with co-host Blake Shemansky. Both avid craft beer and music enthusiasts, they sit down once a week to try some new beers and listen to some music from bands they think you need to hear. Joined by a rotating cast of friends, they will try 3-4 different beers a show, giving some history and their thoughts on each one. Throw in some humor, a drinking game for the listeners to join in along with the hosts; you’re never quite sure what will happen. So tune in for some inebriated laughs and Drunken Lullabies with Dustin & Blake. May your music be loud and your beers cold. Cheers!

The Voice & Beermansky are joined by The Bottlecap Kid, and newcomers Freckles & Drunkle Andy. This week we try 7 beers from Dogfish Head as we celebrate their 20th Anniversary. We drink and discuss 120 Minute IPA, Olde School, Fort, Raison D'Extra, World Wide Stout, Higher Math, & Theobroma. When 9% ABV is the lowest you drink, you know you're in for a doozy of an episode. The Band of the Week is Brooklyn, New York's The Damnwells. We enjoy a couple of their songs and discuss the greatness of Billy Dee Williams, what pairs well with a Bacon Chocolate Cheesecake, something smells medical, Blake makes some awful faces, What's a nib?, wax poetic about 80's WWF wrestlers, and get downright silly.

We try 6 different beers, talk about Hippie's job as a beer merchant, Dustin's well documented distaste for The Doors, introduce Blake's Bonus Beer, and play a couple songs from our featured band of the week Teenage Bottlerocket. The Drunken Lullabies Drinking Game is in play as always, so grab a beer or two and join in the fun.
